24×30 Modeling Paste, Crackle Paste, and Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.
“Something’s Missing” was inspired by the low clouds covering the San Juan Mountains in Durango, Colorado. Each day I was there, I would hike the mountains, but as I looked out at the viewpoints; I saw nothing. Only faint small grey peaks through clouds that covered the views. Each day reminding me that sometimes the outcome we want, may not always be fulfilled once we’ve reached our goal; sometimes somethings missing, and we must continue to search for that “something.”
